Instructional Courses for Medical Professionals

As part of its commitment to enable today’s Orthopaedic Surgeon to keep up to date with the introduction of new technologies, new techniques and new products, the Orthopaedic Skills Academy includes a range of International Clinical Symposia and Instructional Courses.

Each Instructional Course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of a particular product, technology or technique. The Course covers all aspects including design rationale, indications, contraindications, avoiding complications and practical hands-on sessions to familiarise with the instrumentation. These meetings are surgeon led by experts experienced in the use of the technology or technique and are CPD accredited.

Depending on the topic, the Instructional Course will either include a Live Surgery demonstration, during which the delegates can interact with the operating team, or will involve the use of Anatomical Specimens.

Instructional Courses are offered to Orthopaedic Surgeons as part of the Orthopaedic Skills Academy life long learning programme, Many are also suitable for Orthopaedic Trainees in their final years of training.
